The Questions need to cover all of the key ideas and concepts the research seeks to address.

Task

Students are required to formulate a research design framework. Students may choose to complete the poster templates provided on moodle or design their own. This assessment provides you with a plan for your third assessment where you begin to work through the elements that will be included in your final research proposal.

Research Questions

This section should articulate the main focus of the research topic in the form of Question. Research questions need to incorporate the key ideas that the research seeks to address as well as the key concepts underpinning the research. Depending on your research topic, you may be required to formulate one research question or a series of research questions.

  • The Questions need to cover all of the key ideas and concepts the research seeks to address.
  • Try to keep each question to one are of research - or one concept per question.
  • It is quite appropriate to have two or three sub questions that expand on your main topic question.
  • More than three sub questions would likely mean your topic is too broad.
