In this section, briefly introduce the case study presented in class and draw on the different theoretical approaches to studying family dynamics
Respect and uphold their rights, dignity and autonomy including their role in the diagnostic, therapeutic and social care process.
Part B Practice Frameworks
In this section consider using the common assessment framework (CAF), Buckley’s assessment framework and link them to the case study
Part C – Evidence informed practice-using interventions.
In this section, make the connection to social policy in the case study by considering TUSLA, Prevention, Partnership and Family Support, PPFN and Meitheal. By means of the ‘What works’ framework and demonstrate an evidence informed approach to professional decision making.
Part D- Reflection on the case study
In the final section of the assignment, view the case study through a trauma informed lens and critically reflect on your own attributes (values, and interactions in practice) with service users to improve future practice.
