Scenario
You have been asked to produce a piece of work for stakeholders in your organisation. The purpose of the work is to provide a review of how technology is utilised about reporting and recording keeping, and to demonstrate how records are maintained and kept, using your own practice to illustrate this.
You are required to review, describe and evaluate how technology is used in your organisation about recording and record keeping with particular emphasis on care plans/ service users needs. You should also explain the benefits of involving service users in the process.
Regarding your own practice: explain how you produce records that are accurate, legible etc. You should also analyse, evaluate and explain how effective and compliant you are in terms of guidelines for managing and maintaining records so that service user needs are met. Identify any potential or actual difficulties that may exist about maintaining these records.

Explain how you produce complaint records (eligible, accurate, concise, coherent, timely etc), and evaluate how effective you are about record keeping, and how important proper records are in ensuring service user needs are met.
