Assignment Brief and Guidance:

Scenario

As part of an ongoing review of best practices based on evidence-based research in your organisation, you have been requested to produce a piece of work that focuses upon how literature reviews can influence positive change in terms of innovation and improvement.

You should also analyse and evaluate your own practice in terms of how your research impacted on your learning and practice on placement, and how it helped you to contribute to innovative and improved practice.

Assignment Guidelines

Task One

Describe how literature reviews in general can influence evidence base practice, and potentially how the one you conducted could do so.

Task Two

Provide and describe some examples of recent research and how they have impacted upon services.

Task Three

Analyse the impact your own research has had on your learning and your practice. Refer to your literature review (and perhaps other research you have conducted)

Task Four

Evaluate how you have helped to contribute to new and better evidence-based practices on your placement, and how you could potentially do so going forward.

Has the course thus helped you do so and how could it continue to do so going forward.
