Prepare a report outlining your structure and approach to providing your team member with developmental feedback on their performance

As part of your role, you must conduct a Performance Appraisal Meeting with a team member. The employee is an Office/Admin Assistant. This is a junior/entry-level position. The employee’s performance is a “meets expectations”.  You must identify a development plan with the employee to support retention, engagement, and motivation.

Prepare a report outlining your structure and approach to providing your team member with developmental feedback on their performance and providing them with coaching. Students must show a clear understanding of the coaching and feedback model that you would use in this case.

  • Outline the context of the coaching session (business, employee, performance issue) and your desired outcomes for the coaching intervention. (25% of assignment mark)
  • Choose one coaching model you will use to provide feedback and coaching. (25% of assignment mark)
  • Outline your structure for the feedback and coaching session including the “script” you will use to provide feedback and the questions you anticipate using in the coaching session. (25% of assignment mark)
  • Outline the 2 challenges you anticipate and your strategy for dealing with each of these challenges. (15% of assignment mark)
