Assignment Task
Overview
This assignment is based on the data, design, and features from the Assessment 2: MS Excel files, the Assessment 3: MS Access file, and other related information from the Assessment 3 report. Students are required to develop an integrated information system using at least three different applications, such as a spreadsheet, a database, and an information analytics tool.
Details
Develop an integrated information system with a minimum of three different applications (e.g., a spreadsheet, a database, and an information analytics tool). The spreadsheet should include at least three project-related data sets (There is no maximum limit, and you are allowed to use data from over a hundred projects related data if you wish), and the relational database should encompass a minimum of four tables comprising a minimum of 50 meaningful records in each table. An analytics tool can be utilised to integrate, analyse, and visually present the construction information.
Students can extend their data sources beyond a spreadsheet and a database to other potential sources (e.g., online data) if they wish.
Students must create a screen recording, accompanied by a voice-over explanation of the Integrated Information System, which should be in a common video format like MP4 or MOV. The video duration should be kept under 15 minutes.
