Assignment Task

This is an individual assignment. You are required to provide a critical review of at least five diverse research articles for dissertation assignments taken from reputable published sources.

Your review should relate to a topic you are considering for your dissertation. Therefore, the introductory section of your report must include a concise description of the research topic or research area for which you are conducting this review.

It will be acceptable to have a mix of resources of different nature - e.g., empirical research, implementation and testing, ‘review’ articles, qualitative or quantitative research, etc. The main criterion is that the articles must be taken from reputable sources.

For your literature review, you must discuss the following:

• Overall aims and research question that the papers address.
• Background research reported in the papers.
• The approach/methodology employed in the project reported in the papers.
• The tools and techniques used in the project reported in the papers.
• Outcome, findings reported in the papers.
• A critical reflection on how the selected papers relate to your own proposed research project, what is significant, and why.
