Assignment Task

The assessment of this module consists of an applied practice study. A Practice Study is a classic mode of assessment for a professional vocational qualification, featured in every program in our School.

Drawing upon your first assessed practice placement, students will critically analyze an aspect of their practice in terms of Informing Theory (T), relevant Assessment Framework(s) (A), and identified Intervention Methods (M).

Specific Assessment Criteria

• In relation to the case study, explain and critically assess the knowledge base of Social Work concerning the nature of society and the application of theory to human, group, and organizational behavior.
• Select and Justify

Regarding the case study, select and justify appropriate methods of intervention for general and particular social work tasks.
