Assignment 2024

Select a digital media market (Social Media, e-commerce, Gaming, Streaming/VOD/OTT, Music) Select 2 companies which operate in that market and discuss the factors that will determine their success or failure over the next 5 years.

Your answer must include a critical analysis of the major media and communications market trends in recent years.

Approximately 2,400 to 2,800 words.

1. The essay (2,400 to 2,800 words)
2. A referenced bibliography (Harvard style)
3. A 400 to 600 word report on your research journey in the project, what obstacles did you face, what sources did you discover?
4. You must retain all drafts of your assignment in electronic format
5. Your assignment must be submitted as a Microsoft word document
6. Technologies in themselves are not trends in media markets and should not be considered as such.
