This module requires for two assignments to be undertaken. The module is assessed using 100% individual coursework, one assessment is in the form of an report, the other in the form of a marketing plan.
Part 1: Report Industry Analysis The assessment requires you to write a 2000 word industry analysis. You are required to choose the industry in which your chosen firm (Part 2) operates.
This assessment will help to inform your second assessment and enable you to determine your objectives and to formulate your marketing plan.
Part 2: Marketing Plan The assessment requires a 2500 word comprehensive marketing plan for a brand/product/service of your choice. Ideally the product/service or brand may be facing a problem or challenge or undergoing change, you are required to develop a marketing plan which could be fully implemented by the company.

The marking rubrics for each assessment are provided here below to provide you with further guidelines for your writing.
A few pointers I took down:
1. Industry analysis should not be a big global brand
2. Would prefer telecommunications or transport industry
3. SWOT analysis (in reference to annual report), direct and indirect competitors is also needed
4. Diagrams and figures can be put under appendices
5. Assessment 1 and 2 has to be in relation to each other
6. Must have in-text citation
*Appendix is not counted but would be taken into account by the tutor in the marking of the assignment (e.g marketing matrix can leave it in the main assignment while the matrix explanation can be further elaborated in the appendix section)
