Assessment requirements:

You and your teammates in groups of 3 Learners are asked to prepare and deliver an Executive Presentation on the key SHRM practices of Neuralink Corp., which was launched by Elon Musk and a team of seven scientists and engineers in 2016. It is recommended to browse its corporate website and other available publications for preparation.

The presentation should inform about how the key SHRM practises of the company are affecting the organisational goals, policies, and guidelines and how their implementation potentially changes the company’s business performance.
It is expected that the preparation and the delivery of the presentation focus on the key points and conclude with a clear recommendation on how the company could proceed in the future HRM strategy.

In the following, you will find some guidelines on what the presentation should cover: To be presented by all group members:

• An attention–grabbing opening detailing the company and the company’s business.

To be presented by group member #1:

• The organisational vision, mission, goals, policies, and guidelines.
  
• The segment(s) in which the strategic HRM practises became visible, e.g. business units, regions, entire enterprises etc.

To be presented by group member #2:

• The ecosystem (partnerships, alliances, acquisitions) needed to develop, deliver, and support the HRM strategy.
  
• The process and the timeline of the strategy implementation.

To be presented by group member #3:

• Potential risks and how these can be mitigated.
  
• Finally, recommendations on the next steps e.g. how to further develop the HRM strategy.To be presented by all group members:
  
• Finally, a conclusion and your references

The presentation should ideally contain no more than 12 content slides (excl. title page and
references). Marks will be awarded for content but also for the quality of the presentation including:

• logical flow of information
  
• variety of features used to present information
  
• appropriate use of graphics; remember it is a presentation – but yes, you can include notes with the various slides but keep these to the point, treat them as speaking notes.

The presentation must be self–contained, there should be no ambiguity, and thus it must be clearly understood by the audience. All team members are expected to speak.
