Assignment titles

Choose ONE of the following:

1. Compare and contrast two mainstream approaches to addiction treatment
2. Choose one approach to addiction treatment and explore the research into this approach, including the limitations and strengths of the research reviewed, and the effectiveness of the treatment
3. Provide a critical review of the history of addiction policy in Ireland

Please note the following points regarding the essay:

• All submissions must be typed and submitted in Word or PDF format only
• Submit your essay through Moodle before the given deadline
• Include a cover sheet with your full name, course and assignment title.
• All submissions must use the American Psychological Association (APA) format for referencing. Marks may be reduced for incorrect referencing.
• Word count: 2,500 words +/- 10% (excluding reference list).
• Structure your essay with a clear introduction, main body, and conclusions format.
• Support your views with reference to relevant theory and research.
• Use spell-check for/proofread your papers and try to ensure that correct grammar is used before submitting.
• State and support your views in a clear, concise, and logical progression
• Please note you must use a minimum of six academic sources for all essays
