Task description
Using the various examples of athletes sustaining an injury. Choose one (1) sports injury and complete an analysis of this injury. To do this you need to:
1) Describe how the chosen injury occurs and classify this injury
2) Outline the assessment procedures you would use to determine the nature and extent of your chosen injury
3) Analyse the immediate procedures used to manage your chosen injury in order to protect the well-being of the athlete.
4) Examine and justify the rehabilitation procedures required for your chosen injury.
5) Critically examine procedures that would regulate the timing of return to play for your chosen athlete
