Emerging research reports that globally dementia incidence is rising. There is poor understanding of the complexity of living with dementia for people with intellectual disabilities and the multifactorial interventions needed to provide holistic and effective support.

Discuss TWO psychosocial interventions that could be utilised to improve the care and support to a person with intellectual disabilities who has dementia.
