Learners must discuss aspects of the current framework that support emergent literacy and emergent mathematical development such as:

• the unique child
• enabling environments
• role of the practitioner
• early years outcomes
• main areas of children’s learning
• child-centered and adult-led opportunities
• assessment, planning, reporting, and recording

Learners may explain other relevant aspects of the current framework and refer to placement experience.
