LEARNING OUTCOMES

On successful completion of this module the learner should be able to:

• Critique current practice in early childhood education and care to emerging critical discourses
• Critique the roles and responsibility necessary for quality leadership
• Demonstrate an understanding of the application of Siolta in an Early Years Setting and reflect on its effectiveness.
• Reflective on the role of the leader in supporting the learning of the children, parents, and practitioners
• Demonstrate knowledge of current regulatory and inspection procedures as they apply to early years settings.
