In assignment 2, you must build on analysis and recommendations in the first assignment, critically analyse, evaluate and synthesise how creativity and innovation might be mobilised and sustained in the context of your work organisation. Assignment 2 is concerned specifically with the development and sustainability of an organisational climate and culture to promote and support creativity and innovation across the organisation, with regard to group and organisational levels of analysis.
You are required to critically evaluate and synthesise issues to demonstrate how creativity and innovation can be mobilised to support continuous innovation in the context of your workplace. Your analysis may include organisational climate, culture, creative leadership, and actions that promote sustained creative and innovative behavior on group and organisational levels, which make a significant difference to continuous innovation.
You will develop a plan to promote creativity and innovation in the context of your work organisation, supported by contemporary academic perspectives and include an in-depth literature review to evaluate critically alternative perspectives in order to draw meaningful conclusions and develop feasible recommendations.
You will present your analysis and plan in report format of approximately 1500 words (+/- 10%), excluding tables, references and appendices.
In the unlikely event that your work organisation prevents adequate analysis, the UK Tutor can agree an alternative.
