Assignment Task - BMD0004 - Managing Big Visual Data Assignment

For this assignment, you will be required to prepare and submit a data analytics report, which can be based on societal, economic, or business-related data. You are tasked with identifying an issue or a problem, based on this problem you will need to:

1. Provide a data brief (what you are intending to investigate and why)
2. Discuss the data (structured vs. unstructured, etc.)
3. Identify the key metrics of the data (what and why)
4. Process/clean and prepare the data (describe the process)
5. Using storyboards alongside graphs and charts, visualize the data
6. Identify strategic relationships and correlation between the metrics
7. Provide strategic insight (what, how, why)
8. What are your key recommendations based on your analysis?

There are a large number of datasets you can use to help you define your question and present your results (see below). You can use one or more than one, but the focus is on what you find and what keen insight you provide.

3. Utilise a range of software and datasets to develop and operationalize an appropriate methodology for the investigation of a problem
4. Visualize and communicate the analysis of data sets to a business audience
5. Justify the use of data visualization methods as a means of communicating information
6. Evaluate, compare, and contrast the suitability of modeling approaches for different big data domains.
