For this assessment, the learner is requested to carry out research on the current provision for a child with a specific diagnosed additional need of your own choosing. Discussed within the assessment, the learner must describe the difficulties that a person with additional needs may encounter within educational settings. Furthermore, the educational options that are available to that child within the Irish education system. The learner will describe and discuss interventions and behavior management techniques that are used with the child to support them on the learning and development journey. Finally, the learner will identify stresses in the workplace and strategies for dealing with the same.
