PART B

In the second part of this assessment, you will complete a written reflection on your chosen skills demonstration (40 marks).  Word Count Guideline – 2000-3000 words

Performance Criteria:

Clear identification of the planning and preparation associated with this activity

• Discuss and evaluate the strand or element of the curriculum you have chosen to focus on through this skills demonstration
• Describe in detail all collaborative planning which occurred prior to the activity (teaching staff, members of the multi-disciplinary team etc)

Evidence of appropriate rationale.

• Discuss in detail the learning and development opportunities which have focused you on completing this specific activity. (Research must be evident here as to purpose of activity and reasoning for choosing of this specific activity)

Assisting with the implementation.

• Detailed description of the implementation of this activity
• Discussion on the involvement with others during the planning and implementation stages of this activity
• Clear identification of any issues arising, and effective action taken
• Reflection and Evaluation of one’s own role in this activity
• Outline plan for a revised activity taking into account one’s own recommendations stated in previous answer.
