Historical Topic/ Event- Chernobyl Current topic - Reindeer in Norway - A current event that is in relation to my research question is the discovery of highly radioactive reindeer that live in southern and central Norway. These reindeer graze on lichen and fungus which are two things that absorbed the fallout of Chernobyl Research Question

How did the Chernobyl nuclear disaster impact the environment and ecosystems specifically in terms of soil contamination?
