Guidelines:

The learner is required to produce a written analysis of the role of both The Property Services Regulatory Authority and The Residential Tenancies Board. The learner must also investigate why: there is a need for them and what legislation relates to them and how.

PART ONE 

The learner should identify and explain the role of the Property Services Regulatory Authority in Ireland.

The presentation of Part One of the project should include:

1. The history and role of the PSRA, to include a small description of what the Property sector was like before the introduction of the PSRA.
2. List the Licenses that are currently available from the PSRA and explain what each enables the carrier of the license.
3. List the steps necessary to obtain a PSRA license 7
4. Legislation governing the PRSA

PART TWO

The learner should identify and explain the role of the Residential Tenancies Board in Ireland.
The presentation of Part Two of the project should include:

1. The history of the RTB – what the ore | Fancharag
2. The role of the RTB
3. Obligations of tenan
4. Obligations of Landlords
5. Dispute resolution procedures.
