(b) A DC generator, battery, and laboratory supply are connected to resistive load RL in Figure 9.

i. For each network, determine the value of RL for maximum power transfer to RL.

ii. Under maximum power conditions, find the current level and the power to the load for each configuration. [6 marks]

iii. Calculate the efficiency of operation for each supply in part (ii).
