  • The final campaign project requires students to work in teams to research and propose a public relations campaign for an actual client selected by the
    instructor.
  • For this semester, the client is Ministry of Transport Malaysia (MOTM).
  • Students will work in teams of 4 – 5 members per team and compete against each other to develop and propose a 3 month public relations campaign in the same way that real-world agencies compete for the business of prospective clients.
  • A written campaign book (product) will be turned in to the prospective clients.
  • To ensure a high-quality product for the client and for students’ portfolios, the semester long project is broken up into smaller milestone assignments (Assignment 1 – Assignment 6) with corresponding deadlines. Students will be allowed to form their own teams and should designate a team leader.
  • The procedure and structure of the campaign project will be chosen based on your group consent.
  • In the report, you should justify why and how you used the particular tactics. Writing should be clear and concise.
  • Everyone in your group is equally responsible for producing the final project. This means that the project will be graded as group project.
  • Essentially, all in the group may or may not receive the same grade for an assignment, however, a poor assessment may decrease your final grade for the class or that element of the final project.
