This is an individual project which will account for 50% of the overall mark for the 10-credit Family and Child Law course.
TITLE OF PROJECT
The government has decided to ask the Citizens’ Assembly to convene in order to consider the impact of Article 42A of the Constitution on children’s rights in Ireland and whether any further reform is required. Prepare a submission to the Citizens’ Assembly on your views of whether or not, and why, Article 42A should be reformed.
FORMAT OF PROJECT
The submission should be no more than 3,500 words in length (including footnotes but excluding bibliography), typed in 12 font (Times or Times Roman), in 1.5 spacing. There is no discretion to exceed the word count. Bibliographies are optional, and will not count towards the word count.
