EDU 402 - Map your process of Creating and Making and Responding according to the language of the Australian Curriculum and VCAA to guide your reflection

Task Description 

This assessment has 2 components: the presentation of an artwork and a written component.

Throughout the semester of study, you will be working on a negotiated project exploring a personal, political, and social aspects of identity e.g.  race, class, differing abilities or gender using the creative arts (dance, drama, media arts, music, visual art or multi modal) as your modality.

You will create an art piece or performance, on your inquiry/research area and design an engaging, relevant, and evocative presentation to showcase it to your peers.

The artwork will:

show the relationships between the diverse aspects of the identity/ethical/equity area (e.g. personal, political and social)

  • Draw on principles that artists employ for their creative process
  • Interpret the relationship between the creative arts and equity
  • Be original and unique
  • Map your process of Creating and Making and Responding according to the language of the Australian Curriculum and VCAA to guide your reflection
