Discuss the cells and tissues system and its components from the perspective of anatomy and physiology and its abnormal process in relation of cancer.

OBJECTIVE:

This assignment is to evaluate learners’ analytical skills in exploring the importance of the anatomy and physiology of the human body and its relation to diseases.

SYNOPSIS:

The cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. The tissues are made from a group of cells with a similar structure. Although there are many types of cells in the human body, they are organized into four broad categories of tissues: epithelial, connective, muscle, and nervous.

Each of these categories is characterized by specific functions that contribute to the overall health and maintenance of the body. A disruption of the structure is a sign of injury or disease. Thus, with a greater understanding of the body systems, nurses will be able to successfully determine the problem and conclude a more accurate solution in managing the patient.

QUESTION:

Discuss the cells and tissues system and its components from the perspective of anatomy and physiology and its abnormal process in relation of cancer.
