Assignment Overview:

This assignment is designed to enhance your understanding of HR, Marketing, and finance functions within organisations. You will explore collaborative working practices and analyse the factors influencing businesses. Additionally, you will gain insights into financial management and reporting.

Task 1: Poster (Individual Work)

• Choose a business and create a poster showcasing one of the 4 P`s of the marketing mix: Price, Promotion, Place, or Product.
• Research a current UK-based business`s marketing strategies to inform your poster design.
• Include colourful visuals, relevant images, and information on the chosen aspect of the marketing mix.
• Submit as a PowerPoint slide on Blackboard by the specified deadline.

Task 2: Group Presentation

• Work in groups of 3-5 to prepare a presentation on internal and external factors affecting businesses.
• Utilize SWOT, PESTLE analysis, or Porter`s 5 forces models.
• Each student should contribute at least 2 slides.
• Choose a UK-based company for analysis.
• Submit the presentation on Blackboard along with other tasks.

Task 3: HR Case Study/Report (Individual Work)

• Write a 1000-word essay on the role of HR managers in motivating, recruiting, cultivating culture, or orienting employees.
