The assessment is focused on analysis of an organisation`s procurement strategy and how it is aimed at the overall organisational objective and its green agenda using procurement theory. Students need to critically analyse their selected organisation`s procurement strategy and discuss how procurement activities within the selected organisation support corporate strategy and promote sustainability.

The structure of the assignment should be as follows:

• Introduction
• Company background
• Supply chain analysis (Analysis of company`s supply network and supplier relationship management
• strategies)
• Analysis of procurement and purchasing concepts/theories
• Analysis of sustainability objectives and their relation to business level strategy
• Recommendations.
