1. Students will prepare a PowerPoint-illustrated talk about one of their public health passions, and how you can achieve that passion. Each of slides the slides will be set to advance automatically after. You may also want to address how your passion is informed by a given public health career. This will be presented in the final day of class. Be sure to practice, memorize the content to some degree, and not read your paper. This should come across as a rehearsed oral presentation.
2. Students will also write a page narrative regarding their ‘public health passion’ and explore careers you may pursue to address your passion. You can utilize Careers in Public Health” to inform the narrative. You might want to refer to your statement of purpose when applying to the program.
