Research Project 1:
Learning Outcomes:

1. Organise the division of workload within a team and co-ordinate team activities;
2. Collect appropriate information from scientific publications and evaluate its relevance to the project;
3. Develop an intimate knowledge of a particular aspect of the project.
4. Organise and prepare a presentation that imparts information in a clear and concise manner

Research Project 2
Learning Outcomes:

1. Take responsibility for a piece of research work completed autonomously under appropriate supervision.
2. Analyse the laboratory work completed.
3. Evaluate the quality of the practical work undertaken and formulate the appropriate conclusions.
4. Organise and prepare a dissertation (thesis document) and presentation that imparts information clearly and concisely.
5. Defend the research methodology employed and the research findings before the team of academic supervisors in an oral presentation.
